| We prepare and rehearse
business speakers – from senior executives to junior staff – to
deliver dynamic and compelling presentations. There are 3 basic steps in preparing for any successful presentation: 1. defining objectives and structure 2. preparing the content (writing the speech and building the slides) 3. rehearsing until it is ready for an audience. While preparing the content is crucial, it is often the only step taken, and the result can be – at worst – unstructured, unprepared, too long and in the worst scenario, driven by the slides … death by PowerPoint. When preparing a presentation, we firstly assist you to create the presentation structure. We ask: What are your objectives? What are your key themes? Who is your audience? What do you want the audience to do, to learn or understand? Then we look at your content and help you organize it into a compelling argument. In the case of a presentation with multiple presenters, the same process is applied, and decisions are made regarding who talks when for how long to achieve the best result. Secondly, we supervise and assist in developing the content (speech and visuals) of each presentation. Finally, we schedule and conduct rehearsals … • focusing on presentation style and content delivery; • ensuring slides and speech are working together powerfully; • keeping to the decided time boundaries; • and directing the presenter to deliver content to maximum effect. |
